We were approached by a Big 4 advisor to insure a forward looking UK permanent establishment risk for their European client. They were seeking a limit of £36m.

The client was looking for a new CEO and wanted to hire a British CEO that was resident in the UK but were concerned that this could create a permanent establishment in the UK.

Insurance on this point provided certainty for the client and enabled the client to hire the British CEO. We included certain parameters and guidelines that the Policyholder and CEO had to adhere to, to ensure they did not inadvertently increase the risk profile to a level which we would not be comfortable with.
